RI Trooper Log: Assault, Road Rage, DUI

WARWICK, RI — RI Trooper Log arrests  March 20– 25 involving Warwick included charges for DUI, assault, road rage, and domestic felony assault.

Here are the basics on those arrests:

Missed hearing, credit card fraud At 1:50 a.m. March 21, troopers arrested Casey Gentile, 41 of 84 Pierce St., Westerly Rhode Island for a Washington County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card originating out of the Westerly Police Department.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Gentile was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake Center.

Assault & Battery On March 22, 2022, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Anthony Pedchenko, 28, of 28 Troy Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Parole Violation Warrant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts on an original charge of Assault and Battery on a Family Member originating from the Bristol County Sheriff’s Office.

Pedchenko was taken into custody without incident, transported to the Hope Valley Barracks for processing and turned over to officials at the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Service Center.

East Ave. stop, DUI At 10:20 p.m. March 23, troopers arrested Judith A. Wright, 51, of 136 Circuit Drive, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence B.A.C. Unknown – First Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in Warwick. Wright was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where she was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult.

Road rage, assault At 5:15 p.m. March 23, troopers arrested Kareem Hicks, 28, of 281 Richardson Road, Coventry, Rhode Island for Assault & Battery – Device Similar to a Firearm.

The arrest was the result of a road rage incident that occurred on Route 195, in the City of Providence, and the suspect vehicle being located on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick.

Hicks was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date.

Domestic Felony Assault At 6:15 p.m. March 23, troopers arrested Henrry Hardguittini, 33, of 44 Sophia Drive, Warwick, RI, on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Lincoln Woods Barracks for Domestic Felony Assault.

The arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation regarding a road rage incident that occurred on Rte. 95 in Cranston. Hardguittini was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date.

Wanted in Old Saybrook, CT On March 24, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged John Williamson, 41, with a last known address of 63 Gibbons Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island, as Fugitive from Justice from the State of Connecticut.

Williamson was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Jabour, where he waived extradition proceedings. He was remanded to the ACI to await pickup by the Old Saybrook Police Department.
