RI Trooper Log: Arrests on Stolen Goods Possession, Domestic Assault

WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log this week  in, nearby and involving Warwick included arrests on charges of stolen goods and on an arrest warrant for domestic assault.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Traffic stop leads WPD to arrest for stolen goods possession At 1:05 a.m. March 20, troopers arrested Emmanuel Moran-Gomez, 19, of 127 Ridge St., Apt. 1, Providence, RI for Possession of Stolen Goods – Under $1,500.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Moran-Gomez was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released.

Driver stopped, arrested for missing court on domestic assault charge At 11:25 p.m. March 20, troopers arrested Matthew McLaughlin, 32, of 610 South Road, South Kingstown, RI, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Vandalism originating from the Lincoln Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men’s Intake Center.
