WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log this week  in, nearby and involving Warwick included arrests on charges of receiving stolen goods, obstructing an officer, and missing court.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Troopers arrest woman on obstruction charge during crash investigation At 4 p.m. March 24, troopers arrested Crystal Blanchette, 27, of 56 Aquarius Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty.

The arrest was the result of troopers investigating a crash that occurred on Rte. 37 in Cranston. Blanchette was released with a future date to appear at Third District Court.

Traffic stop ends with man’s arrest for missing court for embezzelment At 8:40 a.m. March 23, troopers arrested Carmelo Montanez, 44, of 120 Regent Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Embezzlement originating out of the Lincoln Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

Montanez was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed and then transported to Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.

Traffic stop ends with man’s arrest on warrant for eluding At 1 a.m. March 24, troopers arrested Benjamin Bernard, 18, of 201 Main St., Warren, Rhode Island on a 1.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the initial charge of Eluding originating out of the Warren Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Bernard was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Traffic stop ends with man’s arrest on receiving stolen goods charge At 1:20 a.m. March 24, troopers arrested Julian Holme, 52, of 3 Crown St., Westerly, Rhode Island for 1.) Receiving Stolen Goods – Misdemeanor. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Holme  was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and released after being arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

Traffic stop ends with man’s arrest on B&E warrant At 9:29 a.m. March 24, troopers arrested William Hazard, 55, of 162 Broad St. Apt. #412, Providence, RI 1.) Driving without a License, 2.) Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Breaking and Entering of a Business with Felonious Intent originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Hazard was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Providence Police Department.
