Warwick, RI – State Police activity involving residents of and stops in Warwick this week resulted in arrests on charges ranging from passing false documents to passing bad checks, DUI, and heroin possession with intent to distribute.
Troopers arrest MA man for missing hearing on drug possession charge At 12 p.m. April 11, troopers arrested Craig Franklin, 34, of 405 Kelley Boulevard, North Attleboro, MA, for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the initial charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V originating out of the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Franklin was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later turned over to Providence Superior Court.
Woman arrested for missed hearing on drug possession charge At 11:25 p.m. April 11, troopers arrested Jacqueline Caraballo, 43, of 103 Gray St., Apartment 1, Providence, Rhode Island, for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Cost Review on the original charge of Manufacturing/Delivery of Schedule I-V, originating out of the Providence Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick. Caraballo was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute-Women’s Intake.
Troopers arrest Warwick woman for passing bad checks On April 12, 2017 at 3:37 p.m., troopers arrested M Katherine Coupe, 40, of 56 Church Ave., Warwick, RI for Fraudulent Checks over $1,500.
This arrest was the result of a Barracks investigation by Trooper Wilson and a subsequent check of the subject’s workplace. Coupe was transported to State Police Headquarters where she was processed and later arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.
Warwick man arrested for missing restitution hearing on obtaining money under false pretenses charge On April 12, 2017, members of the Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested William J. Beattie, 63, of 132 Edaville Court, Warwick, RI, on a Kent County Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on an original charge of Obtaining Money Under False Pretenses by the Warwick Police Department.
Beattie was processed at State Police Headquarters and turned over to officials at Kent County Superior Court.
Providence man arrested on Airport Connector for heroin possession At 12:19 a.m. April 13, troopers arrested Gary Doran, 29, of 138 Sandringham Ave., Apt. 1, Providence, RI for 1) Possession with Intent to Deliver Schedule I-V (Heroin), 2) Possession with Intent to Deliver of Schedule I-V (Cocaine), 3) Driving While in Possession of a Controlled Substance, 4) Driving with a Suspended License.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on the Airport Connector in the City of Warwick. Doran was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
WPD apprehends NK man on parole violation warrant At 3:30 a.m. April 13, troopers arrested William Pardee, 29, of 36 Knollwood Circle, North Kingstown, RI, for an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Parole Violations originating out of Parole Board.
The arrest was the result of the Warwick Police Department contacting the Barracks stating Pardee was in custody. Pardee was then transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake.
Troopers stop Coventry man on Jefferson Boulevard arrest him for DUI On Thursday, April 13, at 9:13 p.m., troopers arrested Brian Mateau, 30, of 1310 Harkney Hill Road, Coventry, RI, for DUI 1st Offense BAC .15 or Greater (Phase I – BAC .270 / Phase II – .271).
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Mateau was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.
Jefferson Boulevard stop nabs man wanted for passing false documents On Thursday, April 13, at 11:20 p.m., troopersarrested Carlos Lucas, 32, of 229 Dexter St., Apt. #2, Providence, Rhode Island, on Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for Giving a False Document to a Public Official originating from the Lincoln Woods Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Lucas was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
This is a test
