WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log this week  in, nearby and involving Warwick followed traffic stops on state highways and roads, resulting in charges for missing court hearings on expired license, larceny,conspiracy and embezzlement charges, as well as a DUI charge.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Traffics stop nabs man wanted for missing court on expired license At 2:49 p.m. Feb. 20, troopers arrested Shawn Mann, 26, of 136 Anthony Ave., Apt. #2, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on a Sixth District Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Driving with Expired License originating from the Providence Police Department and a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended / Revoked License originating from the State Police Scituate Barracks. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Post Road in Warwick.

Mann was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men’s Intake Center.

Troopers arrest man wanted for assault after traffic stop At 3:30 p.m. Feb. 20, troopers arrested Alston Davis, 39, of 55 Dean Ave., Apt. #B, Johnston, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct originating from the Johnston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. Davis was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and turned over to the Johnston Police Department.

Troopers arrest man for missing court on larceny charge At 12:11 a.m. Feb. 21, troopers arrested Gregory Bone, 28, of 20 Reardon Ave., East Providence, Rhode Island, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Larceny Under $1,500 originating from the East Providence Police Department and a Washington County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Shoplifting originating from the Narragansett Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Robert Street in West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution, Men’s Intake Center.

Troopers arrest man for stealing car, illegal drug possession in Providence At 8:21 a.m. Feb. 21, troopers arrested Thomas McNeil, 35, of 12 Fuller St., Canton, Massachusetts for 1.) Possession of a stolen motor vehicle, 2.) Affidavit and arrest warrant for receiving stolen property originating out the Pawtucket Police Department, 3.) Kent County Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for cost review on the charge of possession of a controlled substance Schedule I-V originating out of the Warwick Police Department, 4.) Third District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on the charge of driving with a suspended license originating out of the Lincoln Police Department, 5.) Sixth District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for ability to pay on the charge of driving with a suspended license originating out of the East Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence. McNeil was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to Sixth District Court.

Pawtucket man arrested for missing hearing on conspiracy charge At 3:25 p.m. Feb. 22, troopers arrested Alan McDaniel, 32, of 296 Sayles Ave.,, Pawtucket, Rhode Island for 1) a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Payment, on the charge of Felony Conspiracy, originating out of the Warwick Police Department and 2) a Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Payment, on the charge of Felony Conspiracy, originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95, in the City of Cranston. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution -Men’s Intake.

Man arrested on Rte. 95 after missing court on embezzlement charge At 3:30 p.m. Feb. 22 Troopers arrested Erica Bertholic, 22, of 11 Viola Street, Providence, RI, for 1.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for 32(F) / Technical Violation on the original charge of Embezzlement – Over $100 out of the Warwick Police Department, and 2.) Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Sentencing on the original charge of Domestic Simple Assault out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Pawtucket. Bertholic was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Women’s Intake Center.

Man stopped, arrested on Rte. 95 for false report charge At 9:17 a.m. Feb. 22, troopers arrested William Hightower, 50, of 340 Atwells Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for an Affidavit & Arrest Warrant on the charge of Making a False Report originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Hightower was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed then later turned over to the Woonsocket Police Department.

Trooper stop Cranston man in Warwick, arrest him on DUI charge At 4:52 p.m. Feb.22, troopers arrested Antonio Pelletier, 23, of 58 Grant Ave., Cranston Rhode Island, for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs, BAC Unknown, 2) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. Pelletier was transported to the Wickford Barracks where he was processed, and special arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released to a responsible adult.
