RI Trooper Log: Arrests for Missing Court on Assault, Suspended License Charges

Exeter man arrested for missing court date on assault charge At 12:56 a.m. Oct. 12, troopers arrested Alex Villagran, 22, of 639 South Country Trail, Exeter, on a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for a Technical Violation Hearing on the original charge of Simple Assault, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Greenwich Avenue, in the City of Warwick. Villagran was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute.

Warwick man arrested on Rte. 95 for missing court on suspended license charge At 10:27 p.m. Oct. 16, troopers arrested John Spearin, 56, of 10 Westbrook Ave., Warwick, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Ability to Pay on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the Town of West Greenwich. Spearin was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution – Men’s Intake.
