Lincoln Woods: Troopers arrest NY man at AG’s office on charges of check fraud from Pawtucket, conspiracy from Warwick
At 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22, troopers arrested Steve Makropoulos, 47, of 4220 Kissena Blvd., E7, Flushing, NY, charging him with: 1.) 6th District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Review of Insufficient Funds on the original charge of Fraudulent Checks from the Pawtucket Police Department 2.) Kent County Superior Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation on the original charge of Conspiracy from the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Attorney General’s Office for the wanted individual. Makropoulos was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, processed, and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institution Intake Center.
Wickford Barracks: Troopers arrest Coventry man for failing to appear on disorderly conduct charge
On Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m., troopers arrested Raymond Gauthier, 27, of 50 Murray St., Coventry, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the Ability to Pay for the original charge of Disorderly Conduct/Domestic originating out of the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result an investigation at the Phoenix House in the Town of Exeter. Gauthier was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and later turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions.
