Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI —  State Police arrests between June 7 and June 15 were for charges running from DUI thanks to alert drivers on Rte. 37, to a man wanted for indecent solicitation of a child apprehended at the RI Traffic Tribunal in Cranston.

Here are the details of those arrests:

 911 callers lead troopers to DUI arrest At 2:34 p.m. June 11 troopers arrested Kevin Lasarzig, 40, of 5 Claris St., Warwick, RI for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense (First Phase: .106; Second Phase:.105).

The arrest was the result of multiple e-911 calls to State Police Headquarters and a subsequent motor vehicle stop on Rte. 37 in the City of Cranston.

Traffic stop nabs woman wanted for shoplifting At 1:35 p.m., June 13, troopers arrested Maria Pagan, 28, of 218 Webster Ave. Apt. #2, Providence, RI on an Arrest Affidavit out of the Warwick Police Department on the charge of Shoplifting.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Hartford Avenue in the City of Providence. Pagan was transported to State Police Scituate Barracks, processed and later turned over to the Warwick Police Department.

Troopers arrest man wanted for indecent solicitation of a child On Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at 10:40 a.m., troopers arrested Ian Gordon, 43, of 3595 Post Road, Apt. 15307, Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for a technical violation on the charge of Indecent Solicitation of a Child originating out of the Woonsocket Police Department.

This arrest was the result of troopers responding to the Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal to assist the Capitol Police with a subject in custody. Gordon was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later turned over to the Providence Superior Court.

Traffic stop nabs woman on missed court warrant At 11:30 AM June 13, Troopers arrested Lavana Black, age 29, of 12 Wealth Ave., Providence, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on the original charge of Driving with a Suspended License originating from the Johnston Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. Black was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and turned over to Third Division District Court.

Man arrested on shoplifting warrant At 11:33 p.m. June 13, troopers arrested Paul Kuzdeba, 33, of 16 Polo St., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant originating from the Coventry Police Department for Shoplifting. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Kuzdeba was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and turned over to the Coventry Police Department.

Man wanted on warrant arrested at AG’s office At 4:02 p.m., troopers arrested Brandon Mcgarrahan, 24, of 7 Linbrook Drive, Apt. #203, Warwick, Rhode Island, on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a payment review hearing on the charge of operating with a suspended license originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General for the report of a subject in custody. Mcgarrahan was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and then released after posting the required bail.
