Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK— State Police reports in the RI Trooper Log between May 28 and June 2 involved charges for DUI, missed court appearances and shoplifting, most stemming from traffic stops throughout the state.

Here are the available details of those arrests:

Rte. 95 stop uncovers shoplifting warrant At 12:21 p.m. May 28, troopers arrested Kristen Smith, 29, of 200 Woodland Drive Apt. #234, Coventry, RI for an active Superior Court Warrant for Technical Violation on the original charge of Shoplifting – Second Offense out of the Coventry Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where she was processed and later transported to Superior Court.

Missed court hearing At 12:50 a.m. May 30, troopers arrested Adam Brissette, 19, of 807 Williamsburg Circle, Warwick, R.I. for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the original charge of Driving on a Suspended / Revoked License originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

Brissette was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute – Men’s Intake Center.

DUI arrest on Corey Avenue At 11:32 p.m. June 1, troopers arrested Danielle Feather, 26, of 54 Wayne Drive, Cumberland, Rhode Island, for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/ or Drugs /1st Offense – B.A.C. Unknown and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test.

The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop on Corey Avenue in the City of Warwick. Feather was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and held overnight pending morning arraignment.

Wanted in Warwick for shoplifting On Saturday, June 1, at 9:15 a.m., troopers arrested Robert Abercrombie, 49, of 141 Oak Street, Providence, Rhode Island, for 1.) Affidavit and arrest warrant for shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department; and 2.) Fourth Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a technical violation hearing on the charge of shoplifting originating out of the Westerly Police Department.

This arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Union Avenue, in the City of Providence. Abercrombie was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, and then turned over to the Warwick Police Department.
