Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI — State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between July 9 and July 14 involved a no contact order violation, court scofflaws, DUI, probation violation and narcotics possession.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Traffic stop yields arrest on no contact order violation At 3:07 p.m. July 9, troopers arrested Robert C. Ayers, 40, of 307 George Arden Ave., Warwick, Rhode Island for Domestic Violation of a No Contact Order, First Offense.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on East Avenue in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Third District Court where he will be presented as a bail and probation violator.

Traffic stop ends with warrant arrest At 8:52 p.m. July 9, troopers arrested Katrina Rodriguez, 25, of 82 Loretta St., Cranston, Rhode Island, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on the original charge of Disorderly Conduct originating out of the Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick.

Court scofflaw arrested on Rte. 95 At 12 a.m. July 10, Troopers arrested Aris Batista, 35, of 360 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket, Rhode Island, for a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Restitution Review on the original charge of Simple Assault originating out of the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in the City of Warwick.

Warwick man arrested on DUI, narcotics possession on Elmwood At 4:40 p.m., troopers arrested Christopher Wainwright, 31, of 126 Brunswick Drive, Warwick, RI for 1.) Possession of Schedule II, 2.) Possession of Schedule II, 3.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor/Drugs (BAC Unknown), 4.) Reckless Driving, 5.) Driving with a Suspended License – First Offense, and 5.) Chemical Test Refusal.

The arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a motor vehicle accident on Elmwood Avenue in the City of Providence and subsequent overdose. Subject was transported to Rhode Island Hospital where he was treated before being transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks for processing and held overnight pending his morning arraignment at Sixth District Court.

Warwick man arrested for DUI in West Warwick At 11:25 p.m., troopers arrested Peter Rinn, 35, of 39 Cedar Pond Drive Apt. 3, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – 1st Offense – BAC Unknown, 2) Chemical Test Refusal – 2nd Offense (Misdemeanor), and 3) Driving on a Suspended License – Certain Violations.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Washington Street in the Town of West Warwick. The subject was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult.

Man arrested on probation violation for larceny charge At 11:10 p.m. July 12, troopers arrested Matthew Auger, 34, of 15 Hornet St., Providence, RI for a Superior Court Bench Warrant for a 32(F) technical probation violation on the original charge of Larceny of a Motor Vehicle originating out of the North Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Rte. 95 in Warwick. Auger was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute Men’s Intake.

Troopers arrest suspended license court scofflaw At 8:50 a.m. July 12, troopers arrested Michael LeBlanc, 24, of 15 Lisi Lane, Providence, on a Sixth Division District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Pre-Trial Conference on the initial charge of Driving on a Suspended License originating from the Providence Police Department. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and turned over to Sixth Division District Court.
