Editor’s note: The following Warwick, RI area arrests recorded in the RI Trooper Log were reported by the RI State Police on their website. An arrest reflects charges against an individual, and does not indicate guilt or innocence.

WARWICK, RI — State Police arrests in the RI Trooper Log between Dec. 8 and Dec. 15 in and involving Warwick included charges of DUI, B&E, a driver stopped found to possess crack cocaine and heroin, and possession of stolen goods.

Here are the details of those arrests:

Obstructing an officer At 11 a.m. Dec. 11, troopers arrested Leon Campbell, 35, of 109 Fourth St., Apt. #1, Lowell, Massachusetts, charging him with Obstructing an Officer in Execution of Duty and Giving False Document to a Public Official. 

The arrest was the result of a traffic stop on Centerville Road in Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing and transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment.

Traffic stop ends in crack, heroin possession arrest At 2 a.m. Dec. 13, troopers arrested Janice Doung, 29, of 2213 East 19th St., Brooklyn, New York, for 1.) Possession of a Controlled Substance -Schedule I (Heroin) and 2.) Possession of a Controlled Substance – Schedule II (Crack Cocaine). 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North, in the City of Warwick.

Rte. 95 stop ends in arrest for receiving stolen goods, license lack, missed court At 11:17 a.m. Dec. 13, troopers arrested Christopher Gomes, 24, of 70 Linwood Ave., Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) Receiving Stolen Goods – Misdemeanor, 2.) Operating Without a License – 3rd Offense and 3.) Third District Court Bench Warrant for Hold Without Bail for Failure to Appear for Pretrial Conference on the original charge of Willful Trespass out of the Cranston Police Department. 

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in the City of Warwick.

Erratic driver report, crash, ends in DUI arrest At 4:41 p.m., Dec. 13, troopers arrested Raymond Beaumier, 66, of 112 Lane Four, Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – B.A.C. Unkown – 1st Offense and 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test. 

The arrest was the result of troopers responding to an erratic operator and subsequent motor vehicle accident on Rte. 95 North in the Town of Richmond. Beaumier was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment at Fourth Division District Court.

Task force arrests Coventry man for domestic B&E, assault, disorderly conduct On On Dec. 13,  members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Earl Massey, 33, of 164 Weeden St., Warwick, Rhode Island, on Affidavit/Arrest Warrants from the Coventry Police Department for the following: 1) Domestic B&E; 2) Domestic Simple Assault; 3) Domestic Disorderly Conduct; and 4) Domestic Larceny. Mr. Massey was processed and turned over to the Coventry Police Department.
