RI Trooper Log: Arrests for DUI, Drug Possession, Court Scofflaw

WARWICK, RI —  Arrests in the RI Trooper Log  this week in and involving Warwick included a DUI arrest on Rte. 95, drug possession and failure to appear for court on a drug charge:

Troopers, arrest MA man on Rte. 95 for DUI At 8:45 a.m. Oct. 17, troopers arrested Michael Knight Jr. 23, of 174 Wellington St., Apt. #2, Fall River, Massachusetts, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – First Offense – B.A.C. Unknown.

The arrest was the result of a crash investigation on Rte. 95 North in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed, arraigned by the Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult.

Troopers arrest man on drug charge after traffic stop At 10:40 p.m. Oct. 17, troopers arrested David Renner, 39, of 1 Beach St., Narragansett, Rhode Island, for a Sixth District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Bail Violation on the original charge of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance, originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Centerville Road in the City of Warwick. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks, processed and transported to Adult Correctional Institution Men’s Intake Center.

Traffic stop on Jefferson Boulevard ends in drug charge At 1:45 am. Oct. 19, troopers arrested Luis Adames, 22, of 320 Valley St., Apt. #2, Providence, Rhode Island for 1.) a Superior Court Full Bench Warrant for 32 F, from the original charge of Possession of Schedule I-V originating out of the Providence Police Department.

The arrest was in result of a motor vehicle stop on Jefferson Boulevard in the City of Warwick.
