WARWICK, RI — Warwick arrests in the RI Trooper Log Oct. 5 -9 involved charges against two men, one for DUI, hit & run, and the other for Breaking and Entering and felony assault.

RI Trooper Log: Warwick Arrests Oct. 6 – 9
DUI, Hit & Run At 2:22 p.m. Oct. 6, troopers arrested James Silvia, 55, of 1120 Main Ave. Warwick, Rhode Island for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor and/or Drugs – B.A.C Unknown – 1ST Offense. 2.) Refusal to Submit a Chemical Test. and 3.) Failure to Stop for Accident Resulting in Damage to Vehicle. The arrest was the result of Troopers investigating a hit and run accident that occurred on Rte. 95 in Providence.
Silvia was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released into the custody of a responsible adult.
Wanted for Felony Assault, B&E On Oct. 9, 2024, members of the RI Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Alfredo Diaz Cintron, 42, of 82 R Littlefield St., Pawtucket, RI , on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant for the following: 1) Felony Assault and Battery – Dangerous Weapon; 2) Breaking and Entering; 3) Disorderly Conduct; 4) Domestic Simple Assault; and 5) Domestic Disorderly out of the North Providence Police Department.
Cintron was taken into custody without incident and transported directly to the Cranston Police Department.
