WARWICK, RI — RI State Police arrests last weekin and involving Warwick included charges of shoplifting and larceny:
Traffic stop nabs shoplifting charge court scofflaw At 1:30 a.m. Sept. 20, troopers arrested Cristian Pena, 23, of 286 Chad Brown St., Providence, Rhode Island, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for Arraignment on an original charge of Shoplifting originating out of the Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Felix Street in Providence. Pena was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institution.
DCYF alerts Troopers to larceny suspect At 4:53 p.m., troopers arrested Jarred Prete, 26 of 4 Coutu Ave., West Warwick, RI for and Affidavit Arrest Warrant for Larceny – Under $1,500 originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.
The arrest was the result of the Department of Children Youth and Family Office contacting the Barracks concerning the subject, who was transported to Rhode Island Hospital before being released into the custody of West Warwick Police Department.
Troopers arrest Warwick man for credit card fraud At 10 a.m., troopers arrested Reyes Jimenez, 21, of 7 Winslow Ave., Warwick, RI for 1.) Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card-Felony.
The arrest was the result of Troopers assisting the West Greenwich Police with a fraud investigation. Jimenez was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and released after arraignment before the Justice of the Peace.
