EAST GREENWICH — RI State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in East Greenwich that killed a 30-year-old Warwick man Friday at about 4:40 p.m.
Derek LeBlanc of Warwick died after his motorcycle crashed into the median on the southbound lane of Rte. 4 in East Greenwich Friday, according to RI State Police.
Troopers received a report of a motorcycle crash on Route 4 South, north of Rte. 2 (South County Trail), where LeBlanc lost control of the motorcycle.
LeBlanc was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
