WARWICK, RI — The 7th annual Rhode Island Author Expo hosted by the Association of Rhode Island Authors at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet Saturday drew hundreds of eager readers to meet and peruse the works of 135 local authors specializing in history, children’s books and all fiction genres.

The free-admission event included writing panels, speakers, a children’s area featuring pictures with Santa and raffles. The main attraction, however, were local authors hailing from across the state with books to meet every reader’s interest.

Authors ranging from newly published writers to more well-known creators attended, including USA Today bestselling author Jon Land, , R. W. AlleyZoe B AlleyJohn Barylick, G. Wayne Miller, and Paul Lonardo, (who contributed the short story, “The Winning Streak,” to WarwickPost.com’s short story collection, Weird Rhody, free with a yearly subscription, just $10 or one year through the end of 2019).

A full roster of the authors present at the author expo is available at the ARIA website.
