Warwick, RI — It’s been about a year since Sony unveiled its ambitious new PS4 console, and just as with the XBox One, the Playstation game system has undergone some evolution, resulting in a generally better experience.

With the capability to stream services like Netflix and Amazon Prime, a sleep mode that recharges its controllers, and a $50 Plus service that provides a free title every month, the PS4 is more of a graduation gift than a Christmas present, potentially signifying the move up to next-gen gaming.

In its sophomore holiday shopping season, the PS4 is packaged with several options, including Sony’s “Four Games/One Pick” bundle that offers the choice of Destiny, NBA 2K15, LittleBigPlanet 3, or Far Cry 4 to download. Other packages include Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us Remastered in the “Black Friday” bundle and another with the LEGO Batman game included.
