Warwick, RI – The inaugural  Movies in the Park at 1 Rocky Point Ave. kicks off tonight (Thursday, June 18) at 6:30 with free admission and parking for a showing of The Lego Movie.

Food Trucks and local business will have booths around the park. The event, organized by the Central RI Chamber of Commerce, is presented by National Grid and sponsored by Slocum Realty Inurance and Wave Federal Credit Union.

CRICC recommends  bringing a blanket or chair and to watch the movie while sitting on the grass and stars at Rocky Point.

Guests can enjoy the breathtaking view of Narragansett Bay and then find their favorite spot on the grassy field, once the mid-way of Rocky Point Amusement Park, for a family friendly movie under the stars.

The gates will open at 6:30 p.m.  All movies begin at dusk, weather permitting.  Food trucks will be present.

Entertainment Under the Stars outdoor cinema services will project the movies. Admission and Parking in the Park are free. No Alcohol – Please take your trash with you.
