WARWICK, RI —The Independent Insurance Agents of Rhode Island (IIARI) elected several insurance agents to officer positions and announced a pair of directors to its 2023 Board of Directors.
New senior officers include Anthony Bucci, who was elected IIARI president and is the branch manager of World Insurance based in West Warwick, RI; Thomas DiSanto, who was elected as president elect and of Gallo|Thomas of Warwick, RI; and Joseph Paiva, the newly elected vice president who runs The Agency Paiva in East Providence, RI. They are joined by fellow officers Doug Mayhew, state national director, and Kenneth Thompson, immediate past president.
New members to the 2023 IIARI Board of Directors, who are elected to three-year terms, include Marti Longlucco of the Mansfield Insurance Agency in Westerly, RI, and Bruce Messier of the Butler-Messier Insurance of Pawtucket. Marti is serving her second term on the board while Bruce is new to the board. They will serve along current Board of Directors members Sean Daly, Dan Lathrop, Chris Slocum, and John Edge.
