Warwick, RI – A statewide grand jury has indicted two Wawwick men on separate charges of child molestation, with dates set for appearances in Kent County Superior Court on Nov. 13.
Negansett Avenue man indicted for child molestation The Statewide Grand Jury reported out a secret indictment charging Leo Laplume, 45, of 137 Negansett Ave., Warwick, with two counts of first degree child molestation and three counts of second degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on or about days and dates between Sept. 1, 2004 and June 1, 2005, and again on days and dates between September 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008, Laplume molested a child 14 years of age or younger.
The alleged events took place in Warwick, and the Warwick Police conducted the investigation. Laplume is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on Nov. 13.
Brendard Avenue Man indicted on child molestation charges The Statewide Grand Jury reported out a secret indictment charging Sean O’Loughlin, 33, of 130 Brendard Ave., Warwick, with one count of first degree child molestation and four counts of second degree child molestation.
It is alleged that on or about days and dates between Sept. 1, 2014 and July 4, 2015, O’Loughlin molested a child 14 years of age or younger.Â
The alleged events took place in Warwick, and the Warwick Police conducted the investigation. O’Loughlin is scheduled to be arraigned in Kent County Superior Court on Nov. 13.
