Whatever the topic, Warwick gets its share of attention online through the people who share photos on sites like Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram — here’s a sample of what we found during a recent search.

Some are scenes that are typically Warwick — the Conimicut Shoals Lighthouse, a spring sunrise over the Bay, the symbolic burning of the Gaspee — while some are poignant, like the burned-out hulk of the Rocky Point concert hall.

And then there are other photos posted online about Warwick that carry historical significance of a sort — like Mick Jagger’s 1972 mug shot after local police arrested him and four other men on assault charges. They’re a reminder that Warwick is more than a place; there’s a rich and colorful history that lives on through the thought-provoking imagery that people share with each other.
