[CREDIT: Rob Borkowski] Kimberly Frenze, events coordinator at Coventry Parks & Rec., kept an eye on festivities at the Coventry Town Annex during Grandparent’s Day.Kimberly Frenze, event coordinator at the Coventry Parks & Recreation Department, kept watch on the festivities kids, grandparents and parents enjoyed the attractions, perused the businesses vending on the green and enjoyed lunch and refreshments from food trucks fielded by La Loncherita, Lemon Lane Lemonade (fresh sqeezed lemonade), and Iggy’s.
Near the bounce house attractions, provided by Bing’s Backyard Bash, Cathy Cudoni supervised her grandson, Lincoln, 2, as he enjoyed an inflatable axe-throwing game.
“We just got here. So far, so good,” Cudoni said as Lincoln honed his inflatable axe marksmanship.
Coventry Public Library had a free crafts table set up, and the event also offered free face painting, craft vendors, and free family photos by Never Lost Photography.
