WARWICK, RI — Breeze Airways will offer a direct/Breeze-thru seasonal Providence -San Diego route from T. F. Green International Airport to San Diego International starting April 30, 2024, according to the RI Airport Corporation.

Daily direct service to San Diego will depart in the mornings and return to PVD each evening.

This is the second California destination for PVD, with seasonal nonstop and direct service to Los Angeles available seven days a week scheduled to return on May 1, 2024.

In February, Breeze will also launch new, nonstop flights from Providence to Savannah  and Myrtle Beach. Both routes are offered twice a week, with service to Savannah (Wed/Sat) scheduled to begin on Feb. 14, 2024, with service to Myrtle Beach (Thur/Sun) scheduled to start on Feb. 15, 2024. Supplemental Saturday service for Myrtle Beach will also be offered during February and April school vacation weeks.

The Providence-San Diego route is among eight new nonstop routes this spring, including its first service from San Diego to Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Norfolk, Raleigh-Durham and Pittsburgh, all of which are new routes from San Diego International.

Breeze is also adding additional nonstops from New York/Westchester, Los Angeles, Charleston, Cincinnati, Hartford and Raleigh-Durham as well as daily one-stop/no plane change ‘BreezeThru’ service between San Diego and both Providence and Hartford.

PVD now offers 33 nonstop destinations including 15 nonstop routes offered by Breeze Airways and follows the recent news that Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport was named one of the Top Ten in the World by the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards for 2023. PVD is also again in the running for the best domestic airport in Travel + Leisure (T+L) 2024 World’s Best Awards survey, which runs through February 26, 2024.
