NEWPORT, RI — BankNewport has appointed Thomas Bailey of Coventry as vice president, credit administration manager.
In this role, Bailey will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Bank’s Credit Administration team and partner proactively with the Commercial Lending team and other departments to ensure continued excellence in credit quality and risk management.
Bailey brings extensive experience in credit administration and commercial lending to BankNewport, having previously served in leadership roles at HarborOne Bank. With more than a decade of expertise in small business underwriting and portfolio management, he is highly skilled in maintaining high credit standards and supporting strategic growth initiatives.
A native of Burrillville, RI, Thomas earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in mathematics from the University of Rhode Island. He is a resident of Coventry, RI.
