Air Force Pilot Celebrates Return to RI

He’s piloted one of the most advanced aircraft in the U.S. military, and he serves as chief of the 1st Operations Group out of Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Virginia, but Col. Ed Corcoran is definitely grounded — in the best sense of the word.

Corcoran returned to Rhode Island for the Quonset Air Show last weekend in the cockpit of his F-22 Raptor, and spoke with the Post about being able to come home to his waiting family, and noted the “important asset” of the men and women in uniform, and their families who support them.
