WPD Log July 1 – 14: Arrests for DUI, B&E, Stolen Goods

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police officers made 71 arrests between July 1 and July 14, on a variety of charges ranging from assault and DUI to shoplifting and vandalism.

Warwick Police reported 52 of those arrests on their website, made on charges including fourteen for DUI, fourteen for shoplifting, 24 warrant arrests, four for simple assault, four for domestic simple assault, two for breaking and entering and three for reckless driving.

Below are the details of those arrests.

  • On July 5 at 7:50 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Jeremyn Vazquez Poueriet, 24, of 23 Kipling St. , Apt. 3rd floor, charging him with tampering with a vehicle.
  • On July 6 at 7:09 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Frank Valenzuela, 23, of 143 Babcock St., Apt. 2, Providence, charging him with receiving stolen goods, a license plate, during a traffic stop on Rte. 95 south.
  • On July 11, 8:30 p.m., Warwick Police arrested David Marsella, 51, at 127 Van Buren St., charging him with breaking and entering, vandalism, and possession of marijuana.
  • On July 11 at 8:43 p.m., Warwick Police arrested Harvey H. Proffit, 38, of 41 Wildwood Ave., Providence, charging him with reckless driving.
