WARWICK, RI — WPD June 2024 Warwick arrests included charges for DUI, larceny, domestic violence, assault of a police officer, assault of a hospital staffer, and illegal drug possession.

Warwick Police made 177 arrests during this period, according to Warwick Police records. Below are the  basic details of specific arrests, followed by the numbers of arrests for each charge.

Larceny, felony conspiracy At 3:18 p.m. June 16, Warwick Police arrested Jonathan Rossi, 35, of 23 Crossland Road, West Warwick, RI, charging him with larceny between $1,500 and $5,000, and felony conspiracy. He was arraigned in Third District Court that day and scheduled for a Sept. 16 court screening, then released on $2,500 personal recognizance.

Counterfeiting At 3:53 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, Warwick Police arrested Rishina Richards, 31, of 130 State St., Apt. #3E, New London, CT, charging her with passing counterfeit bills. She was arraigned that day in Third District Court and scheduled for an Oct. 7 court screening.

Illegal drugs, weapon At 1:01 p.m. Monday, June 26, Warwick Police arrested Sergio Torres, 54, of 257 Fiat Ave., Cranston, RI, charging him with Possession of Schedule I-V Controlled Substance 10 grams or Less and Possession of illegal weapons other than firearms.

Simple assault: 10

Domestic violence: 32

Illegal drug possession: 6
