WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police arrested a 29-year-old man Monday as they investigated a double-stabbing on Ottawa Avenue.

Police received a 911 call about a disturbance at a Ottawa Avenue location at about 3:24 p.m Officers a man and woman, each with stab wounds, along with a man, Caleb Brown, 29,
still on scene, according to a statement on the incident from Warwick Police.

Officers took Brown into custody without incident, and immediately rendered life-saving aid to the victims while waiting for Warwick Fire personnel.

The woman had a stab wound to the abdomen, and the man had a stab wound to the neck.

Police report their peliminary investigation indicates the stabbing stems from an ongoing domestic situation.

The investigation remains active, with multiple crime scenes being processed and witnesses being interviewed. Criminal charges
are expected but are pending further investigation at this time, police report.
