WPD: Cocaine Arrests Follow Park View Avenue Search

WARWICK, R.I. — The Warwick Police Special Operation Group and Providence Police Department’s Narcotics Division arrested a man and woman on cocaine possession charges, seizing 551 grams of cocaine, $6,000 in cash and three vehicles while executing a search warrant at 267 Park View Avenue in Warwick.

The officers arrested Antonio Soto-Diaz, 36, and Doris Olea, 36 at the address following the search.

Soto-Diaz was charged with:

  • Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery Cocaine -1OZ-1KG
  • Identity Fraud
  • Obstructing Officer in Execution of Duty
  • Administrative Warrant of Removal from the United States

Olea was charged with:

  • Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery Cocaine -1OZ-1KG

The search turned up $6,000 in cash,  551.1 Grams of Cocaine,  a Rhode Island Driver’s License in name of Joel Melendez, and assorted identity documents in Melendez’s name. Officers also seized a 2008 Dodge Ram, 2011 Honda Pilot, and 2007 Lexus LS460 while executing the warrant.
