WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police have arrested and charged a Warwick man following an investigation into three early-morning business break-ins between Jan. 9 and Jan. 19.

Department detectives and the patrol division cooperated on the investigation, according to a statement from the police Thursday. The businesses broken into were Tri City Elks Lodge, the Cantina Del Rio Restaurant (twice), and the Jefferson Speakeasy.

On Jan. 19,  officers apprehended a suspect, George Andrews, 53, of Warwick, based on an outstanding arrest warrant for access to a computer for fraudulent purposes for a separate incident. Andrews was taken into custody, questioned by detectives, and multiple search warrants were executed.

Andrews was transported to Third Division District Court for arraignment on the following charges: access to computer for fraudulent purposes, four counts of breaking and entering, four counts of larceny, and one count of receiving stolen goods.

Andrews was held as a bail violator.
