WPD Arrests Four, Seizes Meth, Searching Unidentified Hotel

WARWICK — Warwick Police arrested four people, seized $989 in cash and 110 grams of methamphetamine at an unidentified hotel in the City today as part of a continuing investigation, police announced this afternoon.

Warwick Police Detective Capt. Joseph Hopkins  announced that the WPD Special Operations Group executed a search warrant for a room at the hotel as a result of an ongoing investigation.  The search of the room found four occupants, the methamphetamine, a number of unidentified pills, several scales, packaging equipment, the cash and drug paraphernalia. 

The specific hotel is not being named because of a continuing investigation, Hopkins noted.

As a result of the search warrant the following people were arrested:

Jeffrey Aubin, 41 years of age from East Providence, was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell Methamphetamine and two Bench Warrants for previous Possession of Schedule I-IV and Obstructing an Officer charges.

Jennifer Santos, 37 from Lincoln, was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell Methamphetamine.

Derek James Pedro, 40 from New Bedford MA, was charged with Possession of Schedule I-IV (Methamphetamine).

Kyle J Souza, 33 from Fall River MA, was charged with Possession of Schedule I-IV (Methamphetamine).
