WPD Arrests Alleged Dealer in Cocaine Bust

WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police arrested a Warwick man Nov. 30, charging him with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver after a cocaine bust  and search at a Warwick home.

According to Warwick Police, the department’s Special Operations Group, with the assistance of the RI Department of Corrections Special Investigation Unit, executed a search warrant at 29 Dan St. in Warwick Thursday, Nov. 30.

The operation resulted in the arrest of Jason Tallo, 38, of Warwick. The search yielded what the WPD called “significant evidence,” including 17.1 ounces of cocaine, a sum of U.S. currency, and items related to the distribution of cocaine, according to police.

Tallo was charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine. He was arraigned on the charges Dec. 1 and held without bail.
