WMOA’s RI Open Features Visions from Artists Statewide

Warwick, RI – Warwick Museum of Art‘s 28th Annual RI Open, featuring 51 pieces submitted by 42 artists, is showing through Oct. 25 at the 2359 Post Road gallery.

Juror Ernest Jolicoeur, director of the Dorrance H. Hamilton Gallery at Salve Regina University, selected pieces submitted from across the state; a collection of works in mediums including painting, pastels, drawing, photography, sculpture and mixed media.

The opening reception was held Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 6-8 p.m. in the main gallery, drawing about 50 people.

The Museum is open to visitors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
