WARWICK, RI — RI DOT has a number of road work projects in effect this week in the West Bay area, including several impacting Warwick roads.

West Bay
Route 5 Improvements
Cranston/Warwick: Travel lanes are reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction, from Knight St. to St. Paul Church.
Warwick: Rte. 5, from Knight St. to I-95, right lane closed for construction, Tues.-Fri., 6 a.m.-5 p.m.
New Traffic Pattern
Coventry: Alternating one-way traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals for bridge work, 24 hours per day on Rte. 33 (Sandy Bottom Rd.), over the Pawtuxet River at the Sandy Bottom Bridge. Access to local businesses maintained. Reduced lane widths. Expect delays.

Warwick: Jefferson Blvd., from Okeefe Ln. to Jefferson Park Rd., right lane closed for a bridge inspection, Thurs. and Fri., 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Warwick: Rte. 2, at its intersection with the I-295 South ramp, narrowed lanes for construction, Tues.-Fri., 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
Warwick: Rte. 117 (Centerville Rd.), from Orchard Ave. to Commonwealth Ave., right lane closed for final construction and maintenance, Tues.-Fri., 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
Warwick: Rte. 115 (Toll Gate Rd.), from Orchard Ave. to Leon Whipple Rd., narrowed lanes for final construction and maintenance, Tues.-Fri., 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
West Greenwich: Weaver Hill Rd., from Big River Rd. to Nooseneck Hill Rd., lane shifted for a bridge inspection, Tues. and Wed., 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
