Warwick, RI — Police are seeking leads in two cases of tool theft in separate incidents in October.

On Oct. 24, police say a white male went into the Leo’s Tire Store on Elmwood Avenue and stole what was described as a “very expensive tool” used in car repairs.

A photo on the Rhode Island Most Wanted website shows a heavy-set man in blue jeans and a dark green jacket. According to Warwick Police, the man pretended that he had a repair question and spoke with a mechanic.

When the mechanic returned to work, the man hid the tool under his jacket and left the shop.
