WARWICK, RI — This Warwick Weekend boasts the traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, an Apple Festival and a slight chance of rain as we break from a three day heat wave.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall The replica of the monument to the U.S. servicemembers lost in the Vietnam War opens today in an official ceremony at Rocky Point Park, 1:45 p.m. Mayor Frank Picozzi announced its arrival and assembly earlier today. “’I’m helping to assemble the “Traveling Vietnam War Memorial” at Rocky Point. The opening ceremony is set for 1:45 this afternoon! Come down and check it out. It will be at Rocky Point until Sunday at 5 p.m.”

Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall The replica of the monument to the U.S. servicemembers lost in the Vietnam War is installed this weekend at Rocky Point Park. It will be at Rocky Point until Sunday at 5 p.m.
Apple Festival Visit Rocky Point Park between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. for all things apple, including Apple Butter, Pecan Apple Butter, Apple Salsa, Apple Jam, Apple Hickory BBQ Sauce all available in the We Be Jammin store. The event will feature the 88th Army Band, food trucks, crafters, special character guests, touch a truck vehicles, and childrens activities. Free admission and Free parking.
