WARWICK, RI — This week’s Warwick Weekend events offer improv, trivia, free movie Friday and an emerging artists’ show, and Valentines – Football inspired events.

WCFA exhibit: New Voices WCFA’s newest exhibition, “New Voices: The Next Generation of Rhode Island Artists” is now on view until Feb. 15 This group show, curated by esteemed gallerist and fine art specialist Michael Rose, will showcase a diverse collection of work by emerging artists from around the Ocean State. The exhibit shows at the WCFA gallery, 3259 Post Rd, Warwick, RI 02886. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is free. Join us for the opening potluck/BYOB reception, February 6 from 6-8pm.
Proclamation Taproom Trivia night Visit Proclmation Ale, 298 Kilvert St., Warwick, RI at 6:45 p.m. for McCaughey Standard Trivia, which is anything BUT your typical trivia – An array of original questions that makes your brain tick AND gets your team to squirm. Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you’re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they’ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show – designed for teens and adults – is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you’re ready, jump up and get involved.
Proclamation Ale Movie Night Visit the Proclamation Ale Taproom, 298 Kilvert St., Warwick, RI at 8 p.m. this Friday for Raiders of the Lost Ark. The first Friday of every month we play a movie with sound on our big screen! Unless otherwise noted, movies will begin at 8 p.m. Food vendor will be ABCD Brothers Kitchen.

Valentines Kids Cookie Decorating Party OBVF Women’s Auxillary is hosting a free Valentines Day themed kids cookie decorating party Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m. till 12 p.m., 645 Oakland Beach Ave., Warwick RI. The event is open to the public.

Flower Puppy Cookie Bowl Sunday On Sunday, Feb. 9, visit the Proclamation Ale Taproom from 12 – 6 p.m. for a combination Flower-Making Work Shop, Girl Scout Cookies, a Puppy Bowl, Charcuterie and Panini Sandwiches, and Beer.
On Super Bowl Sunday we will be showing the Puppy Bowl while we host a Build-Your-Own Bouquet workshop from 2-5pm (Click for tickets), Girl Scout Troop 816 will be set up selling all of your favorite Girl Scout cookies from 1-3 p.m., and Artisan Bites will be filling you up with beautifully crafted charcuterie boxes, freshly curated salads, and crispy fresh paninis all day, while we keep your glass full.
