WARWICK, RI — It’s return of the food trucks in this Warwick Weekend events roundup, with Crowne Plaza’s food trucks returning Thursday, then Roger Williams Park on Friday, followed by an Earth Day observance Saturday (the official day is Monday) shopping festival of food, shopping, face painting,balloon animals, a petting zoo, carriage rides, a bouncy house.
Warwick Weekend weather starts with clouds and a 30% chance of rain Friday and Saturday, with temps ranging from the 50s to 60s, followed by a sunny Sunday with temperatures in the high 50s, according to the National Weather Service.

Crowne Plaza Food Truck Night Make yourself at home on the lawn for this evening’s return of food trucks at Crowne Plaza in Warwick. Bring chairs, blankets, and your favorite lawn games. Create your perfect relaxation spot and enjoy the evening with family and friends. Attendance to the event is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from over a dozen food trucks accepting cash and cards.
Warwick Weekend Events Friday:
Thayer Arena Public Skate: Through March, Friday and Sunday, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 – Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.

Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children ages 13-17 without an adult staying onsite must be paid for and signed in by an adult that can leave emergency contact information. Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.
WCFA Spring Jury Exhibit WCFA’s exhibit, running through April 13, ‘TALKIN’ TRASH,’ features Art created with items rescued from the landfill. The exhibit is juried by Beverly Silva. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. every Wednesday through Saturday. There is no charge for admission.

Shop the Park in Pawtuxet Village We Be Jammin Events will be in Pawtuxet Village this Saturday from 10 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. with more than 70 vendors for your delight and entertainment. Come help us celebrate Earth Day at our event. We will be giving away free tree seedlings to the first 1000 customers. Stroll the beautiful grounds of the park and enjoy the views of Narraganset Bay while shopping local small businesses and vendors. Make sure to bring the kids. We will have sand art, face painting, balloon animals, a petting zoo, horse-drawn carriage rides, a bouncy house, and more.
