WARWICK, RI — August wraps up this weekend, so make the best of it  as we bid farewell to summer with a Warwick weekend chock-full of great events from live music to a statewide scavenger hunt the whole family will enjoy and everything in between.

Friday, August 27

Goddard Park Farmers’ Market

Stop by the Goddard Park Farmers’ Market today and grab some fresh produce, breads, meats, flowers and more from local spots. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Goddard State Park, 1095 Ives Road, Warwick.

“Resilience; a Juried Exhibit for Native American Artists”

Warwick Center for the Arts is excited to announce our upcoming exhibit entitled, “Resilience; a Juried Exhibit for Native American Artists.” This exhibit is a collaborative partnership between the Warwick Center for the Arts, Tomaquag Museum, and RISCA’s Atrium Gallery Travelling Exhibits. The original artwork ranges from installations to freestanding pieces as well as 2D and 3D media. The curator, Angel Beth Smith of the Narragansett Tribe, is a professional artist with more than 30 years of experience providing artistic content, teaching, and marketing support to academic institutions, churches, and private organizations. 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Warwick Center for the Arts, 3273 Post Road, Warwick.

Food Truck Friday at Roger Williams Park

Enjoy Food Truck Friday featuring more than a dozen locally-owned food trucks, along with local beer from Trinity Brewhouse, along with live music. 5-8 p.m. Roger Williams Park Zoo & Carousel Village, 1000 Elmwood Ave., Providence.

Comedy Night at Caribbean Delights

Head over to Pawtucket tonight and catch some comedy at Caribbean Delights hosted by Terron Jackson and featuring both new and returning comics. Tickets start at $15. Doors open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Caribbean Delights, 560 Mineral Spring Ave., Pawtucket.

2021 Rhode Island Statewide Scavenger Hunt

Put a team together and have a great time this weekend at the inaugural Rhode Island Statewide Scavenger Hunt! This is a family friendly event where you can explore the state like you’ve never done before and all at your own pace whether it’s a few hours, a whole day or two days, you’ll uncover clues that will bring you to new sites. Team registration is $60 for one to five players. Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Head to Bloom Collectives weekly outdoor marketplace, the Armory Artisan & Vintage Market every Saturday and Sunday and visit with local artisans, crafters, local food trucks and more. Noon to 5 p.m., 1455 Westminster St, Providence.

Apponaug Summer Fest ‘21

Head down to Apponaug Brewing Co. today for the brewery’s Summer Fest. Enjoy featured brews, food, brewer meet and greets with Mike Webster from Apponaug Brewing Company, Morgan Snyder from Buttonwoods Brewery and Matt Richardson and Luke Gerweck from Tilted Barn Brewery.
