WARWICK, RI — There’s a two-hour delay for Warwick Public Schools Thursday, and no morning pre-kindergarten as a Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service warns of a slippery commute in the early morning.
Warwick Public Works has issued a parking ban for the City starting at 6 p.m. and lasting until further notice.
The advisory will be in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday night through 7 a.m. Thursday morning, covering central and eastern Massachusetts as well as all of Rhode Island. The NWS predicts total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, and warns of slippery roads for commuters during that time.
