WARWICK, RI — On Wednesday, May 8, the Warwick Police Department’s Special Operation Group and Newport Police Department’s Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at 10 Althea Road, arresting and charging Brian Thompson, 44 with several counts of manufacturing and delivering narcotics, as well as for possessing a stolen Derringer pistol.
WPD Lt. Scott Robillard reported that Thompson, who lives at the address, was charged with:
- Possession of a Stolen Firearm
- 4 Counts Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery SCH 1/II
- Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery Cocaine -1OZ-1KG
- Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery SCH III/IV
- Manufacturing/Possession/Delivery SCH I, II, III, IV, V
During their search of the address, the police units found:
- $30,836 cash
- Derringer Firearm
- 5 Ounces Cocaine
- 50 Oxycodone Pills
- 82 Amphetamine Pills
- 70 Tapentadol Pills
- 139.5 Grams of Marijuana
- 93 Units of Suboxone
