WARWICK, RI — Friday, a Warwick lottery winner cashed in a $250,000 scratch ticket for an extraordinary start to his weekend.

The Warwick man won $250,000 playing the “Supreme Cash” Instant Game out of a vending machine at Stop & Shop, 2470 Warwick Ave., Warwick.  He knew there was a top prize left, so he purchased the ticket on his way out of the store.  He plans to use the money towards his wedding this spring and save the rest.  He mentioned he’ll need a new car soon, as well.  He’s been a very fortunate lottery winner in the past, having won $20,000 and $75,000 before, in addition to $50,000 on a 2nd chance drawing.

Another winner, a man from North Providence cashed in his $50,000 Daily Numbers tickets from the September 18, 2023, Evening Draw.  He wagered $5 on two 4-digit straight tickets, winning $25,000 on each.  He purchased the tickets at Shell, 1275 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.

Finally, Friday’s third winner to celebrate is Fallon Aiken of Riverside.  She won $30,000 playing the “Mythical 7’s” Instant Game. She said, “Today is a special day,” as it’s her granddaughter’s first birthday.  She plays this ticket because one time there was an extremely happy woman in front of her in line, who played the same ticket.  Happiness is contagious, and since then, Fallon played “Mythical 7’s” and has won often.  She purchased the $30,000 ticket from Taunton Ave Irving, 155 Taunton Ave., East Providence, and plans to pay bills, pay off her car and save the rest.
