WARWICK, RI — Retired Warwick Fire Department Dispatcher Walter M. Bailey Jr., 53, passed away at home on Sept. 10, 2021.

Born in Cranston, Mr. Bailey served in the WFD for 30 years.

Funeral service is scheduled for today at 11 a.m. in Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Committal prayers to follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.

Mayor Frank Picozzi ordered city flags to be flown at half-staff in his honor.
