WARWICK, RI — Warwick Police were called to the Courtyard Providence hotel at 55 Jefferson Park Road May 14 at 5:50 a.m. by staff concerned about two people in their lot in a silver truck, who were subsequently arrested on outstanding warrants.
Officer Keara Enos saw the silver Ford F-150 with RI plates in question upon pulling in to the hotel lot, as well as a man and woman in the truck, according to the officer’s report. As the officer stopped their cruiser, the man got out of the driver’s side an d quickly entered the hotel lobby, Enos reported.
Enos spoke with the woman in the truck, identifying her as Katelynn Penta, 32,of 25 E. Greenwich Ave., Apt. #B, West Warwick, RI, who said they were having trouble booking a room at the hotel online. The man returned from the lobby, and Enos identified him as Kristofer Rodrigues, 35, of 1809 Old Louisquisset Pike, Lincoln, RI
Shortly after identifying both people, Enos received a message from dispatch advising they each had outstanding arrest warrants, from Third District Superior Court for Penta and from Third District Court for Rodrigues, and arrested them. The officer arranged for City Towing to remove the Ford from the lot.
