The following Warwick-related arrests were reported by the RI State Police between March 28 and April 1:
Court Scofflaw apprehended in East Greenwich
Wickford Barracks – On Friday March 28, at 12:05 p.m., troopers arrested Kirk Sollars, 43, of 2352 West Shore Road, Warwick, on a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear – Ability To Pay on an original charge of DUI, first offense,  levied by the RI State Police Chepachet Barracks.
The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 in East Greenwich. Sollars was transported to the Wickford Barracks and later turned over to Third District Court.
Postal Complaint leads to Warwick woman’s arrest on larceny charges
Detective Bureau – On March 28, 2014, members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested Sharon Fonseca, age 21, of 17 Francis Street, Warwick, Rhode Island on two (2) counts of Larceny over $1,500. The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by members of the Major Crimes Unit in response to a complaint filed by United Parcel Service (UPS).
Fonseca was processed at the Wickford Barracks. She was then arraigned at the Third Division District Court and released on $10,000 personal recognizance.
Chelmsford man arrested in Warwick, charged with DUIÂ
Hope Valley Barracks – At 2:12 p.m., troopers arrested Christopher Chamberland, 30, of 46 1st St., Chelmsford, MA, for Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs—BAC .15 or greater – 1st Offense (Phase I: .386 and Phase II: .382).
The arrest was the result of several reports of an erratic driver on Rte. 95 South in Warwick. Chamberland was transported to the Hope Valley Barracks, processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
