Warwick Parking Ban, Cancellations Ahead of Snowstorm
[CREDIT: WPD] A Warwick Parking ban and cancellations have been announced as the state prepares for its first 2024 snowstorm.WARWICK, RI — There’s a Warwick Parking ban in effect till Monday, 9 a.m. and service cancellations coming in as the state prepares for the first snowstorm of the year, with a Winter Weather Advisory starting at 4 p.m. today.
Warwick is not alone in its parking ban, joining 23 statewide including Coventry, Cranston and West Warwick. Addiction Recovery Institute in Warwick and Roger Williams Park Zoo are also closed Sunday. There are also numerous religious services cancelled.

Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after noon. High near 33. North wind around 18 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.
