A Warwick man was sentenced to three years probation in U.S. District Court Thursday after pleading guilty in March to giving porn and pills to an inmate in exchange for 500 while he was a correctional officer at the Wyatt Detention Center in Central Falls, R.I.

Mann Chemical Company pled guilty today to violating the Clean Air Act by failing to create a Risk Management Plan that would minimize risk of a hydroflouric acid spill and protect employees and the community from a fire from or leak of the substance.
