Warwick, RI – RI State Police arrested a Warwick Man Sept. 2 after The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported he was trading internet files of child pornography.
Investigators identified the internet connection at 84 Steele Ave., Warwick, as the address sharing files of child pornography. On Wednesday, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force members executed a search warrant at the address, confirming child pornography on digital media inside the home, according to RI State Police.
Henry Bozzo, 59, who lives at the address, was identified as the alleged owner of this digital media. State Troopers arrested Bozzo, charging him with Possession of Child Pornography and Transfer of Child Pornography, State Police report.
Bozzo was arraigned at the Third Division District Court, The Noel Judicial Complex, 222 Quaker Lane, Warwick, before Associate Judge Pamela Woodcock-Pfeiffer and was released on $10,000 personal recognizance with special conditions including no contact with minors and no access to the Internet.
A person found guilty of Possession of Child Pornography may be subject to a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or imprisoned not more than five (5) years, or both. A person found guilty of Transfer of Child Pornography may be subject to a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or imprisoned not more than fifteen (15) years, or both.
