WARWICK — The second, eight-day southern phase of the $25.3 million Rte. 95 Toll Gate & Centerville Road bridges replacement project is in its seventh day, with lingering traffic effects through next week.
On Monday night, RIDOT demolished the old Rte. 95 bridge over Toll Gate Road. The northern span of the Rte. 95 bridge over Centerville Road was set into place Tuesday.
Traffic alerts for I-95 (from Exit 10 to Exit 12)
- I-95 North and South remain reduced to three lanes and traffic shifted
- I-95 South Exit 10A remains closed. Detour using Exit 10B
- Centerville Rd. West on-ramp to I-95 North remains closed
- Sun. night, June 28 -Tues., June 30: Barriers removed; striping placed; traffic restored to four lanes in each direction
