COVENTRY, RI — Coventry area Kent County arrests in the RI Trooper Log  April 10 – 20 involved charges for DUI, possession of a stolen vehicle and child molestation.

Here are the basics on those RI State Police Kent County arrests and Kent County arrests:

Kent County Arrests April 11 – 20

Wanted in New Hampshire On April 15, the ACI Investigations Unit arrested Jayson Shute, 38, with last known address of 1439 Main St., West Warwick, Rhode Island, as a Fugitive from Justice from the State of New Hampshire.

Shute was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he agreed to waive extradition proceedings back to the State of New Hampshire and was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs’ Department.

WG Stop, DUI Charge On Wednesday, April 16, at 2:22 p.m., troopers arrested Daniel Richiez, 32, of 1027 Walton Ave., Bronx, New York for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor and/or Drugs – BAC Unknown – First Offense 2.) Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

The arrest was a result of motor vehicle stop on Route 95 North in the Town of West Greenwich. Richiez was transported to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of The Peace and released to the custody of a responsible adult pending future arraignment at Third Division District Court.

Missed Court, Stolen Vehicle On Friday, April 17, at 8 p.m., troopers arrested Allison Malachowski, 35, of 53 Wisteria Drive, Coventry, Rhode Island, 02816, for a Third District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Complete Pretrial Services on the charge of Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 95 South. The subject was transported to the Wickford Barracks for processing then turned over to the Adult Correctional Institute – Women’s Intake Center.

Rte. 4 Crash, DUI Charge On Saturday, April 18, at 12:28 a.m., troopers arrested Sean Morel, 20, of 49 Silver Cup Circuit, West Warwick, Rhode Island, 02886 for 1.) Driving Under the Influence of Liquor – BAC .10 to .15 – First Offense. The arrest was the result of a motor vehicle crash investigation on Route 4 in the Town of East Greenwich.

The subject was transported to the State Police – Wickford Barracks, where he was processed, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and later released into the custody of a responsible adult with a future Third District Court date.

Child Molestation Warrant On Monday, April 20, 2026, at 8:28 p.m., troopers arrested Justin Duquette, 20, of 58 Evergreen Drive, Exeter, Rhode Island for an affidavit and arrest warrant for Second Degree Child Molestation originating out of the West Warwick Police Department.

The arrest was the result of Troopers assisting Detectives from the West Warwick Police Department with a residence check at 58 Evergreen Drive, in the Town of Exeter. Duquette was transferred into the custody of the West Warwick Police Department.

At 11:30 a.m. April 21, troopers arrested Claudio Liranzo, 53, of 26 Clyde St, West Warwick, Rhode Island for 1) Obtaining Property by False Pretense > 10,000. The arrest was the result of a barracks investigation and the West Warwick Police Department subsequently locating Liranzo. Liranzo was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and later transported to Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.
